Full Face Mask
Full Face Masks, (often referred to as FFM's) are important pieces of equipment for both the professional and recreational diver but require proper training and skill development to reduce the risk associated with their use.
This course will provide you with an understanding of the requirements associated with its effective use. It will discuss some advantages and disadvantages of using a full face mask, how to inspect the unit before operation, how to properly don, clear and doff the unit, and finally how to care and maintain a full face mask.
Included in this course is
- Use of Ocean Reef IDM and communication systems
- eLearning component
- Classroom session
- Pool training
- 2 Open water dives with your instructors for certification. (Location to be determined)
Additional items available upon request. Some items may require additional cost
- Use of full scuba unit
- Use of wetsuit for pool or open water training
- Entry fees or boat fees required at locations where open water dives are conducted.
